Spoiled? Nah, never!

So I have had to limit my shopping trips for little Leighton Grace to 1x week. Once a week (Usually Thursday or Friday), I allow myself to go into a children's store and buy something(s) for her. I thought I would be the only one (trying) to practice restraint in the shopping department. However, Jason and I were in a store last weekend buying some things for ourselves, and at one point I looked all over trying to find him. I finally found him waiting in the checkout line, 3 little pink outfits dangling from his great big hand! I almost fell over when he showed me the darling little onseies... he just smiled and said "I spent 15 mins in the baby department, aren't these cute?". I then repiled "Who are you and what have you done with my husband?" Aww, what a sucker he is already right? It was very sweet and I know he will be a wonderful papa:)

I included some photos of our slowly growing 'collection' for LG, along with the sweet things Jason picked out. She is not going to be spoiled... right?

Belly!

Here is a picture from last week at 17w4d. The belly has arrived!!

Someone said to me yesterday, "You are only 18 weeks along! Your belly is going to be huge!". Awww, don't some folks just say the nicest things?!?

Watch out world... baby GIRL Nail is on her way!

Yesterday we found out we are having a baby girl! I still can't believe it! For the past 16 weeks, I have had a very strong feeling it is a boy... Don't get me wrong, we just want a healthy, happy baby and we really weren't concerned about whether it was one or the other! I typically trust my 'gut instinct', and it definitely was incorrect this time:) I envision so many fun memories to come with our little girl... it will so much fun as her mommy to share in many 'girly activities', and I know Jason is already wrapped around her finger. He keeps staring at the pictures of her and saying how sweet she is, it's adorable!

To determine the sex early, we (along with our parents) went to an off site 3D imaging center to see a clearer, color view of our little one. It was fascinating and enlightening... I included a 'posing' picture of our precious one. It's so much fun to imagine what she will look like! Only 23 weeks to go:)
