Headfirst, ready or not...

We finally reached another milestone! LG is finally head first! For those who haven't brushed up on your labor and delivery lingo, this means she's in correct position for delivery, head down in the pelvis, feet up (basically upside down). This is necessary for the baby to be able to come out properly, otherwise they are considered breech and sometimes a c-section has to be done :(. Over 80% of babies have reached head first position by 28 weeks, so we were about a month behind (I told you she's stubborn!). Dr. Crone told us last Friday that if she was still in breech position and hadn't turned into the birth position by week 36, they would try to manually rotate her (ouch!!). But sure enough I felt her do some crazy, spastic dance moves and pop right into place yesterday! It was almost like a litte earthquake was taking place in my belly. It is such a relief too, because before she was jutting out of the side of my stomach and it was extremely uncomfortable. Now it just feels like she's playing the drums on my ribcage, but that's okay:) T-minus 54 days to go!
