Just Because....

Thought I would post some fun pics of LG! I realized I've been slacking on taking pictures, so we had a little mini photo session last Friday. The rodeo pj's she is rocking were a gift from Meme (my mom). The little frilly pink bathing suit used to be worn by... none other than yours truly! Yep, that was my bathing suit when I was an itty bitty baby. My mom has been so wonderful about saving many of my baby/childhood clothes and toys, and it's been so fun to watch Leighton enjoy them now, 30 years later :)

5 Months Old

I am 5 months old!! Here are some of the things I now do....

-I can situp on my own (no Bumbo!!) for about 1-4 minutes, unassisted
-Nap and snuggle with my 'lovey bunny'
-Love to eat oatmeal, sort of like bananas and avocados, but still prefer mom's milk!
-Love to watch, pet, and 'talk' to Bailey
-Blabber! My favorite sounds to make are 'Goo, Gaa, Gee', and I spit when I get angry
-Reach out for and grab onto things
-I prefer things that are primary colors
-My favorite toy is my exersaucer
-I am still very regimented/schedule oriented (like mom), and I'm a bear if I don't get my naps or 11 hours of sleep in
-I am still showing signs of being silly and impatient like mom, while analytical and discerning like my dad :)
-I love to look at anything sparkly or jewelry-like... hmmm, wonder where that comes from?!?!
